otherkins are cool! i mean, being otherkin is sort of a centuries-old tradition (for want of a better word) whereby people /know/ they’re human but feel spiritually connected to an animal or something that has a soul - i don’t see why most of tumblr has such a big problem with that?? it’s just their identity and it’s nobody else’s business. what i don’t like is those troll blogs (y’all probably know the two i’m talking about) that claim to be “tamponkin”/”chairkin” etc and are really over-the-top and disrespectful to not just the otherkin community, but many other communities too. and it’s sad how normal otherkins on tumblr get ridiculed and literally hated on just because some people think those dumb troll blogs are actually real.
